Espalier or fan trees are used against a wall; you will need not less than 180 x 180cm’s for a fan or espalier tree. Please note we do not supply ready trained trees; this Granny Smith is a young tree suitable for training yourself, in situ. Such trees usually settle to cropping within 2 or 3 seasons.
Granny Smith is an Australian variety named in the 1800’s and grown in most warmer countries of the world. A very late ripening variety, leave Granny Smith on the tree as long as possible before harvesting and enjoy from storage.

Pick November, keep in a cool shed or garage for use December to May.
